In my role as Admissions and Marketing Coordinator, I work to promote and support Stern’s executive certificate programs and its Master’s of Science in Quantitative Management degree. Both programs are conducted online and I communicate daily with students through phone, email, and web-conferencing services. I provide advisement to students before, during, and after they have submitted and enrolled in our programs, assisting them with academic and career planning, resolution of technical issues, and processing of individual enrollment requests. Outside of my direct work with students, I manage many of the technical systems our department utilizes including the application portal, customer relationship management database, and enrollment tracking system. Data reporting is also a central responsibility of my role and I create, design, and maintain reports used by both individual team members and the Dean of the School of Business. Some of the most prominent projects that I’ve worked on include: -Developing a competitive analysis that analyzed peer institution pricing structures of similar certificate programs that resulted in the repricing of our own online executive certificate programs -Creating a new semesterly onboarding process for 300+ certificate students that includes improved automation of student account creation, the continual modification of student communications to accommodate potential technical issues, and transparent sharing of information with my team while ensuring student privacy -Facilitating the adoption of a new application system for our master's degree program, including the migration of data from one database to another, training of team members in the new system, and integration of new technology into existing processes
