• Collection and analysis of production scrap from the factory floor • Entering data from supplier and non-conforming material reports into a database which is used to generate reports for management meetings and display on shop floor notice boards • Manage and maintain the database containing detailed scrap information – reason for scrapping, quantity, date scrapped, cost of parts, number of complete regulators scrapped etc • Transfer scrap information using SAP in order to correct stock levels, raise notifications enabling analysis of part movements and associated costs • Provide data to management and supervisors when required • Analyse seat test NRFT data and produce daily reports • Toyota clinch point measurements which involves measuring a number of clinch points, producing the results in graph form and sending the results to key personnel - this process is undertaken in the Laser Welding Laboratory on computer (using the microscope) • Raising purchase orders for tools/materials for Quality Lab using company procurement system • Reorganisation of plant layout to become more space efficient/make room for new machinery • Customer/supplier assisting and visiting • Liaise with supplier quality and electronics engineer to test parts for noise defects
