Collaborated with Intuitive Machines to design, build and hydrostatic pressure test a LOX & CH4 all-composite type 5 COPV to be integrated on the NOVA-C lunar lander set to launch NASA commercial payload; responsibilities included CAD layup and manufacturing tooling design using 3d printing for prototyping, optimizing composite layup geometric configurations using SolidWorks and excel, epoxy injection bonding flight hardware and filament winding programming. Designed and assisted composite technicians with geometrical cut patterns and schedule based on structural analysis determining COPV thicknesses and ply orientations for high strength and cryogenic composite lay-ups for several phases of the tank build process.
