- Provided contract oversight and administration to facilitate forest thinning and fuels reduction projects on state wildlife management areas in cooperation with the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission (NGPC), Nebraska Forest Service (NFS) and United States Forest Service (USFS). - Assist Nebraska Game and Parks Commission with wildlife research and management. - Cooperate with state, local, and federal entities to suppress wildfires and conduct prescribed burns.- Assist Nebraska Game and Parks Commission in the capture, collar, and DNA sampling of mountain lions. - Provide forest management consultation to private landowners adjacent to public land. - Grant writing and acquisition.
