  I previously worked in the night shift operations at DPD's central hub in Athlone. This line of work involves loading and unloading parcels onto lorries in a high-pressure and complex environment, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic as there was an extreme increase in the volume of parcels dispatched from the hub. Each parcel is carefully handled to make sure no damage is caused through the dispatch process. This line of work has improved my teamwork and collaboration skills in high pressured situations.

  I was involved in the team which was tasked with switching customers onto a new shipping solution program. This experience in IT helped me further my knowledge with technology and programming software. I was also required to work in customer service. If any of the customers had a query/problem, I would try resolve it to the best of my ability. These two roles me helped to improve my customer facing skills while also furthering my knowledge with technology and programming software.
