Luke is fantastic at what at he does. We, at Advonet, are lucky to get to benefit from his talent. He is highly skilled at every aspect of communications: the technical side, the creative side (both words and visuals) and the strategic aspect. He can produce powerful and effective newsletters , leaflets. social media posts and other materials. He needs relatively little direction in order to come up with content that is on the button; and, best of all, he is remarkably quick at turning a conversation into an idea and idea into something concrete that will unfailingly have a poweful impact.

It has been a pleasure working alongside Luke. His information work is consistently of a high standard, always done on time and he takes pride in tasks being completed to a high quality. Luke is good at working on his own initiative , creative in producing new resources and manages competing demands effectively and with flexibility when needed. He is a great team player and shows compassion and sensitivity when supporting vulnerable people as well as relating well to professionals. Luke shares our values in using integrity and creative approaches to support those we work with to have more effective access to the information they need and have a greater voice. Luke is an essential member of our team and we would be keen to develop his role and responsibilities further in future.

I manage social media channels, produce the quarterly newsletter, various print resources and publicity material for Advonet's Leeds Autism AIM project. I single-handedly built the project's website and populated it with content about what Leeds Autism AIM does. My other duties include providing information and signposting at a weekly drop-in service, engaging with other autism services in Leeds and producing personalised resources for clients such as autism alert cards and one-page GP profiles.I also do a little comms work for all of Advonet, producing the charity's monthly newsletter and creating posters and other forms of content for their social media accounts.
