As one of the primary teachers of the Cisco Network Academy CCNA curriculum at Century College, Luke went above and beyond for all students in his classes, and always brought positive energy into every class that made learning a fun experience. He would stay late after classes to revisit concepts for students struggling to understand, gave great realistic advice of what students can expect in the job market, and I always felt he tried to take a personal interest in all his students to understand how he could help them succeed. Great teacher, great mentor, great person to be around!

Luke is an exceptional educator. As a guest speaker in his classes, I have seen him interact with students first-hand and it is obvious that students respect him and see him as a role-model. He cares about the success and welfare of his students. He knows how to connect his students with the support they need when he sees that they may be struggling - be it academically or personally. I enjoy every opportunity that I have had to work with Luke as a colleague.

The ability of businesses and organizations to successfully plan, design, and implement technology-based communication systems is critical to keeping a competitive edge. As the Internet expands and computing and converged digital networks and applications evolve, there will likely be a shortage of qualified “IT” workers in the future. This broad-based program of liberal, technical, and professional studies will prepare students for intelligent, effective, self-development in a complex and continually changing society. The Information and Telecommunications degree is designed to allow students to focus on a specialized area within the Information Technology field. The program also emphasizes the importance of business and communications skills in today's business climate.
