I am responsible for the recruitment, training, management, and development of Volunteer Leaders within Edmund Rice Camps for Kids WA (ERCKWA). I provide support and assistance to all ERCKWA volunteer leaders as well as assist I the provision of camps and other activities, with a key focus being the management and support of volunteer leaders.

The Guild Volunteering Department connects students to meaningful volunteering opportunities with life-changing organisations, both on-campus and in the wider community. The initiatives and events we plan to run all aim to empower students to engage deeper within their own communities as well as branch out to be apart of others.

Chair of Young Leaders Council

As Chair, I preside over the Young Leaders Council, ensuring that the planning and running of the leadership development workshops for students in Years 11 & 12 are engaging, informative, and empowering. My role also entailed liaising with the University on the joint program, chairing all meetings of the committee, which consists of all elected Student Representatives and staff, and ensuring meetings run efficiently and that every voice is heard.

In my role, I assisted with the administration of the leasing, licensing and management of City leased or licensed properties, including assisting with negotiations. I provided a high level of internal and external customer service and always complied with the City’s Customer Service Charter. Waterpolo Coach

My role was to coach the middle school teams during the weekly games indicating areas to improve and praising good performances. I coordinated the implementation of swimming fitness and skill-based drills centred around the fundamentals during the training. Furthermore, I happily answered any strategic and skill questions proposed by the students. I taught children between the ages of 2 - 16 the various different stages of swimming making sure that all safety guidelines were adhered to maintain a safe and happy swimming environment at all times. Another aspect of my role was to conduct checks on swimming areas and equipment to maintain safety and good condition. Furthermore, I participated in training programs and instructor workshops; such as CPR and Water Safety re-qualifications.
