Providing and assisting the collection, manipulation, and analysis of sub-regional intelligence within the Black Country Consortium Economic Intelligence Unit. This is in order to support and inform evidence-based policy decision making across various Midlands Engine Observatory projects (as part of the wider Midlands Engine partnership) covering the themes of Business, People, and Place to support the region.Some of the projects/products which I have worked on include: the Midlands Engine Investment Portfolio (this included the role of universities as drivers of FDI and various clusters within the region), the Midlands Engine Intelligence Hub, Pandemic to Endemic Report, Food and Supply Chain report, various Regional Economic Impact Monitors, various regional factsheets, and work for the APPG (All-Party Parliamentary Group).
