  I was one of 30 selected students out of 160 to undergo a probationary semester where I learned about UVA Admissions, history, and speech mechanics. During this semester, I developed a 90 minute admissions tour and 60 minute historical tour which I continue to modify and use as a current tour guide. I happily provide prospective students with a comprehensive tour of UVA and college life to aid in their personal college decision.   I was internally elected to serve as the Honor Committee's Vice Chair of the Treasury which oversees the $5 Million endowment and manages the yearly budget of close to $200,000. A major component of this position involves interactions with university organizations through co-sponsorships.   I was elected in a student body-wide election as one of two representatives for the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences on UVA's Honor Committee. The Honor Committee oversees the University's honor pledge and community of trust. The Honor Committee works to ensure the protection of the University of Virginia's commitment to follow the honor system, stating that students shall not lie, cheat, or steal. The Honor Committee oversees the University's honor pledge and community of trust. The Honor Committee works to ensure the protection of the University of Virginia's commitment to follow the honor system, stating that students shall not lie, cheat, or steal. I hopefully during my new term as representative can help support engineering students who fall under the scrutiny of the honor code more than any other of college at the University. As a part of my multiple terms in this position, I have worked to help form, pass, and develop the new multi-sanctioning system of the Honor system.
