Since I was assigned with the responsibility of the Plant Purchasing Direction, Luis became the second on board of the department, being able to represent and take any decisions in my absence. I fully delegated to him the management of the Strategic Suppliers of the site, where Luis performed in a fantastic way, dealing with tenders, negotiations and any king of purchasing issues. Luis gained with hard work, good communication skills, right attitude and a strong solving issues orientation my trust and support. Luis was also a leader in the department and developed the Continuous Improvement Teams, achieving outstanding savings, putting together clear processes and standards to get everyone aligned and focused to achieve our saving goals year after year. I want to emphasize his very good analytical abilities to work with data, to summarize the important information and report that information to all levels. Well organized, committed with dates and targets. I certainly recommend Luis for any purchasing management assignment as Luis has all the necessary skills, personal and technical, to successfully meet any expectation.
