Bio
Niedharsan Pooranachandran
Luis Medina Sanchez was a PhD-fellow working in a biomedical/developmental biology lab at the University of Sheffield. At one point we collaborated to participate in a team based competition, the YesBiotechnology competition, in Stevenage GSK, where he demonstrated numerous skills. We worked in a group of five, and Luis demonstrated excellent team work abilities in both contributing to ideas, and solutions, as well as paying attention to all team members' opinions and views. He was highly motivated and hard working to be able to balance his PhD research, and still be able to perform the necessary research required for the business project to be developed for the competition. His business mind-set allowed him to quickly acquire the large amount of information we received over a two-day workshop, at GSK, for this competition. He quickly used his new found knowledge and heavily contributed to develop a strong business pitch for our business idea. It was a pleasure working with someone who has such strong qualities, as it motivates the team as a whole
