This "Primary Impression" data was comprised of 911 calls categorized according to specific health issues, including myocardial infarction, pneumothorax, snake bites, carbon monoxide poisoning, chest pain, etc. The health issues with the highest number of calls became candidates for this year's public health campaign. -Researched and designed a cardiac campaign that will be sent to cardiac centers in Santa Clara County, distributed to the public, and used by emergency medical technicians (EMTs) while on the job. I used Microsoft Publisher to design and format the brochures that are part of the cardiac campaign. -Expanded upon and organized a database, using Microsoft Excel, to be used for storing information on all the automated external defibrillators (AEDs) in Santa Clara County. -Updated "Trauma Guidelines" poster to be displayed in hospitals in Santa Clara County Accomplishments: Creation of a public health campaign which taught the public about heart attacks. The flyers and documents were used by the entire EMS System during the month of October 2015 for any educational events they attended. The documents are also showcased on the Santa Clara County EMS Department website and their social media accounts. *Attached is one of the brochures I designed and researched.
