My responsibilities as a mentor, I developed individualized plans for each mentee to help them grow and improve personally. I motivated them to enhance their decision-making and problem-solving skills, while modeling proper social skills to encourage positive behavior and responsibility. Additionally, I participated in community outreach events to promote volunteer opportunities and recruit new volunteers for upcoming trips and events. I implemented various strategies to increase student engagement, recruitment, and retention, while cultivating an engaged student population with successful orientation programs.
