Project: Evaluation of use of meta-analysis, inverse process, modeling and multi-fitting for obtaining parameter values with nutrional significance. Objective: The use of four methodologies underutilized in applied agricultural sciences that can be of utility for the evaluation of ruminant feed in Latin America. The primary focus was on the use of these techniques for the analysis of large quantities of data from various research sources to supplement the lack of information of particular processes. This is the case of the evaluation of ruminant feedstuffs that for their limited harvest area is not funded, researched or widely reported worldwide. However, their common mechanistic processes could be grouped and fitted to complementary data to improve its assessment. This is not a minor, since Mexico and Latin America shares a wide variety of potential resources that are sustainable, and that have not been utilized extensively. The procedures planned to integrate into mechanistic modeling processes were, meta-analysis, inverse process, mechanistic modeling and multi-fitting.
