  I began coding office visits for gastroenterologists. We use both ICD-10-CM and CPT codes. Since March 2020 the company made the switch to remote for all employees except corporate and HR. In April of this year (2023) the office visit portion of the coding department was outsourced. I was moved to procedure coding. I'm currently coding colonoscopies and upper endoscopies and also assist with hospital visits.
