  I became a part of the editing team of the Justice in The Americas Report in its 2008/2009 version. This Report describes the principal characteristics of the legal systems of the countries which are part of the OAS (Organization of American States) and it simultaneously delivers updated statistical information on how they are currently working, with the purpose of allowing the access and exchange to legal information in the region and to promote its production and publication. My mission was to write some national chapters. For this purpose I compiled information from different sources and served as connection between the JSCA and diverse institutions (judicial power, district attorney's offices, public defenses, Bar associations, universities, etc.) to obtain official and direct information.
