The propulsion team is responsible for the design, construction and testing of rocket motors and engines. In general, the task of a propulsion member includes:- Acquire and purify fuel and oxidiser for solid propellant;- Solid propellant manufacture;- Design of combustion chambers, oxidiser tank and nozzle;- Static fire tests;- Modeling and numerical simulation of motors;- Structural analisys and numerical simulation (FEM) of pressure chambers and nozzle flow.Events:- LASC (Latin America Space Challenge) 2019, being awarded 2nd place in the 1km Solid category and 2nd plane overall Show less
