Teamed with a specialist research group to accomplish the mathematical representation, design and simulation of a four-phase packed bed biological reactor later compared with an experimental system, resulting in one peer-reviewed publication. Managed and conducted the optimization of an analytical protocol to determine elemental sulfur from an industrial-scale biogas desulfurization packed bed bioreactor. In charge of acclimating wastewater treatment biomass for the consumption of organic sulfides and test the capability of the adapted biomass to remove organic sulfides odors in membrane reactors. The adapted biomass was compared later with another acclimated culture in biotrickling filters, accomplishing one peer-reviewed publication.
