      A little over 11-years ago I changed company to seek out new challenges in my field. I left Wainbee in December of 2008 after nearly 10 years of being in the organisation for a new exciting opportunity in the same field. Currently Wainbee as well as many other companies are part of my customer base! My technical expertise in the field of hydraulics and Pneumatics brings a new strength to the sales force at Stauff Canada. My current region encompasses 7 provinces across Canada from Eastern Canada all the way out to the West Coast. I currently work with my Partner Distributors and OEM in many ways from providing tools to expertise on product and applications in their respective markets. I work hard in developing long term relationships and take my work very seriously as my distributors and OEM's are the key players in my success. They trust my expertise to supply them with exactly the right product for the pending application. After only 6-years of service and a very significant economic downturn back in 2009, I attained in 2014 my original goal of doubling the sales volume for my territory from my original 2008 starting sales numbers.

      I started at Wainbee as a Technical Representative on March 29, 1999. My primary responsibility was the promotion of Hydraulic Components and Systems to our existing customers base, and to develop new customer relations. With lots of hard work and effort I succeeded in finishing 1999 with a 26% increase over the previous year. Shortly after I started I was invited to join the Hydraulic Business Team. The Hydraulic Business team consists of members from Central Canada, Western Canada and Eastern Canada plus one member of the Executive Committee. The function of the Hydraulics Business Team is to establish the company’s goals and strategies to gain market share, its business plan. September 2000, I was promoted to the position of Hydraulic Sales Manager for the Montreal Branch. At the end of that year I personally finished with an outstanding 89.1% increase in sales, while my sales team finished at 36.5% over the previous year. I was presented the “Presidents Award for Excellence” for the highest sales growth in percentage for Eastern Canada. While I was the Hydraulic Sales Manager I had numerous specialists under my responsibility. Still being part of the Hydraulic Business Team I became the “Product Champion” for 3 product lines for Eastern Canada. During the 2002 to 2006 time frame I was the Sales Manager for both the Montreal and Ottawa Branch! I also worked extensively to increase our presence in the aerospace industry. During that same time period I supported the local hydraulic salesmen in the Maritime Provinces. I managed to land Wainbee with a couple of very large lucrative contracts in the USA totalling over $1-mil in Sales. I took on the management responsibility for both Pneumatic and Hydraulic for the Montreal Branch sales Team. The key to keeping on top of things is “Time management”. I kept my management duties and supported the salesmen in their individual territories until my departure from Wainbee at the end of 2008!
