Engineered the city of Santa Barbara's first solar-powered holiday display in the Milpas roundabout. Pioneered the Milpas Outreach Project with Central Coast Collaborative on Homelessness (C3H) to assist 10 chronically homeless individuals into into sustainable living situations. Project is funded, and being replicated in other communities. Served on the Milpas Action Task Force since 2010 to reduce adverse neighborhood impacts associated with homelessness. Created the the Yes We Can! project to cover blighted public trashcans with children's artwork, creating a vibrant outdoor public arts display in the area.
