Lucana Oleszczuk was my assistent in an European Twinning Project, that was designed for improvement of the Polish Customs Service in several areas and was accomplished in 2 years with experts from The Netherlands and Germany. Lucyna is a very loyal and dedicated collegue. She is a cheerful teamplayer, focussed on cooperation and achieving results , and combines this with a charming sense of humour. In the years 2003-2008 Lucyna supported the Dutch Customs and Tax Administration colleagues in the Twinning project where experiences were shared with Polish colleagues. The meetings were intensive because a solid programme had to be completed in a short period of time. Lucyna was an indispensable link in logistics, translation (also often during social conversations) and taking notes. Her critical view of the presentations and her valuable explanation of the context in which the Polish colleagues work was striking. In short, versatile, hard worker, critical, analytical and above all empathetic colleague.
