Teach A Man To Fish is an international NGO working with young people in predominantly developing countries, so that they have the chance to develop life and entrepreneurship skills by planning, setting up and running a real business in their schools. I am responsible for conducting research and working with our in-country teams in Rwanda, Uganda, South Africa, Honduras, Nicaragua and Guatemala to apply for funding and prepare donor reports. I represent Teach A Man To Fish at meetings, give presentations about our work and design and deliver training.

ReachOut is a mentoring charity working with young people in disadvantaged communities in the UK to raise aspirations and help them grow in character and attainment.I am responsible for designing and facilitating two-hour weekly workshops between a group of 10-16 young people and their mentors. I am also taking part in a leadership programme, which involves intensive training in safeguarding, child protection, public speaking, and working with young people with Special Educational Needs. After volunteering at Deki, I was offered this role for three months which was then extended. I was responsible for researching and preparing high quality grant applications to trusts and foundations, planning a successful fundraising campaign, managing volunteers and supporting with communications.I was thrilled to co-lead a team to win Deki's first grants from UK Aid, both the Small Charities and Community Partnerships funds.
