When we worked together, Lucy was a valued member of the LTS team not only for her technical skills and knowledge of the software/hardware tools but also for her excellent teaching that displays excellent communication skills in a warm and engaging manner conducive to learning: students not only gain or improve skills under her tutelage, they are enabled to pass an industry exam, and also enjoy the process as Lucy can connect to her students effectively. The learners are then able to confidently use their newly-gained skills to develop their own work to a high standard. Lucy can be counted on to provide critique and feedback to both students and coworkers in a timely, helpful, and professional manner. As with colleagues and students, she is ever-approachable: always kind, always helpful to students. If the resolution to the query isn’t immediately available, she doesn’t hesitate - she knows whom to ask and/or how to find the solution to a query. Having worked with Lucy these three years, I find her both professional and highly adaptable even in high-stress situations such as teaching under tight deadlines, the overnight switch from face-to-face to online teaching, or in a high-demand support environment such as around student hand-in times. She is collaborative and always willing to share what she knows to enable and improve the team processes and ever-growing
