      In this role I primarily managed the day to day HR function in which we recruited health service professionals and non-professionals to provide primary health care services to British soldiers and their families within BFG. I worked closely with a HR Administrator and a Finance Manager communicating regularly with our HR Head Office in London on a daily basis. In my role I was responsible for the administrative functions relating to advertising, recruitment and selection (acting as HR representative on interview panels), managing local induction process, writing and authorising Contracts of Employment, all DBS and MOD security checks and resolving payroll queries. I was also responsible for ensuring that all employment records were accurate and up to date and held securely in line with policies and legislation. In addition an important part of my role was to engage with all stakeholders advising managers and staff on policies and procedures, resolving minor employment relation issues efficiently and effectively, escalating major issues to senior HR staff in Head Office. I worked very closely with our head Office in London supporting them on major projects including the implementation of the NHS Agenda for Change initiative and a new Policies and Procedures manual. I travelled throughout BFG assisting the HR team on providing training roadshows. Show less
