      My responsibilities included managing an Executive Committee of 14 and orchestra of 85 students and representing the society on a University-wide level. Highlights include: - Developing a new website (www.duosdurham.com) - Establishing the inaugural DUOS Composition Competition for Durham students - Organising a 50th Anniversary Celebration concert in Durham Cathedral, for which we commissioned composer John Casken to write a work to feature Sir Thomas Allen as soloist.
