I recently completed Trauma Experience Learning led by Lucy. This course was incredibly informative and full of valuable information and tools which I feel will help build a brighter and better future for generations to come. Lucy is a fantastic mentor and has an excellent method of delivery which I feel is relatable and can be understood by all. I would highly recommend completing this course and look forward to future learning with Lucy. Thank you for creating such a wonderful learning experience.

It was an absolute pleasure to work alongside Lucy. It’s very rare to find somebody qualified in education with a deep understanding of psychotherapeutic needs of children have experienced complex trauma. Incredibly intelligent and matched by her resilience, anybody would be lucky to work alongside Lucy Mannion and learn from her expertise.

Having recently completed a training course with Lucy, (online) at the Blackrock Teacher's Centre, I cannot recommend her highly enough. The course in "Trauma Informed Education" was one of the most engaging and RELEVANT courses I have ever undertaken (and I'm a bit of a course junkie). Lucy is an excellent teacher and her presentation was clear and concise. She was most generous with her time and advice outside of the course also. I feel that she genuinely cares about her work and is eager to be part of a more humane and insightful form of education, which works better for all than the old-school punitive models. We are very lucky that she is coming back to Ireland to work.

TCES provides services for neurodiverse children and young people aged 7-19 who have experienced complex relational trauma impacting their social, emotional and mental health. My role as Deputy School Development Partner involved consulting with leadership teams across five schools and services, focusing on strengthening collaboration between education and therapy teams. We successfully integrated best practice from each therapeutic discipline to support education staff in responding to distressed and dysregulated behaviours, in order to optimise learning opportunities for their pupils.
