Freelance Qualitative Protocol Interviewer (QuIP)

Feb 2018 - Sep 2019
Trained by Bath Social & Development Research Ltd, I used the QuIP approach to conduct interviews with VCSE sector organisations across Bristol between February-May 2018 and July-September 2019. The data collected contributed to an impact study commissioned by the support and development agency, Voscur, looking at changes to the VCSE sector in Bristol over a period of two years. As part of this contract I also conducted focus groups commissioned by City Funds on ‘child poverty and healthy food’ and ‘community-led services and working with local anchors’ in August 2019.

Data Support Officer

Apr 2015 - Sep 2016
Working across the research, evaluation and analysis team, I was responsible for managing Insights and analysing data and report writing for partnering domestic abuse charities. Another key part of this role was delivering presentations to domestic abuse charities on the outcomes data they submitted, comparing their data to our aggregated dataset. In addition, I provided support on the mixed methods ‘Themis’ project, which evaluated the impact of co-locating Independent Domestic Abuse Advisor (Idva) services in hospitals.
