Jody Boyman
As a woman co-founder of Hungry Planet, a plant-based meat company, Lucy interviewed me about my career trajectory and learnings for a senior project while attending Chapman University. Her questions were well thought through and expertly asked - and her listening and reflecting skills were top notch. She is clearly an avid learner and is actively building her skill set to chart a successful career path post graduation. I have no doubt that she will be a huge asset for whichever team she should decide to join.

Lucy Ebers worked as a Marketing Intern for me for a semester and she created a marketing campaign to showcase a new sorority sneaker collection in order to help raise awareness and donations for her Delta Gamma Philanthropy, Service for Sight which supports schools for the visually impaired and other organizations in North America that promote sight conservation and preservation. She was proactive, on time, always willing to help, and excellent with creative problem solving and graphic design. She highlighted her communication capabilities through our weekly meetings, asking intuitive and critical thinking questions, and when reaching out to other Delta Gamma chapters at various other Universities to partner in helping support her sneaker collection and raise funds for the Service for Sight philanthropy. When connecting with other Delta Gamma chapters, she did so in an eloquent and professional manner. Ms. Ebers was a quick learner when first coming into contact with the various marketing and E-commerce platforms that we use for B Street Shoes and Blvd Custom. Her previous experience with graphic design was extremely beneficial to her internship. She was able to sit in on client mock-up meetings and take what she learned to apply to her own campaign. Ms. Ebers is genuinely passionate about her work and responsibilities while also being very resourceful and creative when it comes to problem-solving. With her honest, hard-working, and friendly personality, she would be an exceptional addition to any industry environment and professional team.

Marketing Intern
-
Sep 2019 - Jan 2020
During my internship with BStreetShoes I was given the creative freedom to do my own marketing campaign based on a line of custom shoes I created to fundraise for my sorority's philanthropy- Service For Sight. I handled all of the social media marketing, promoted marketing through websites such as Pinterest, as well as outreach to other college campuses. Outside of my campaign, I learned skills such as how to use Shopify, how to handle shipments, and how custom shoe/tshirt printing works.
