  My major duties include teaching, research and consultancy. I lecture various courses (both general and specific) in the Dpt of Food Science and technology including Technology of Dairy products, Technology of Fruits and vegetables, Food processing and preservation, Food analysis and instrumentation, Introduction to Food Science and Technology, food Chemistry and Biochemistry. Research on all areas of Food Science and Technology. Current research projects include School milk feeding programme among schools in Morogoro municipality in Tanzania (ASARECA funded project);More milk by and for the poor Adapting dairy market hubs for pro-poor smallholder value chains in Tanzania (IRISH AID).
