My current role is working within the community to support individuals, families, groups and schools who are raising funds for Sheffield Children’s Hospital. I work across a wide region and ensure fundraisers are supporters during their journey. My role also includes raising awareness of the charity across the region which includes contacting groups and schools with new fundraising products and events. I also deliver talks and presentations to groups that want to find out more about the work of the hospital and charity. I also manage In Memory fundraising including tracking and donor caring any online fundraising pages. I am currently part of the project team for the Bears of Sheffield sculpture trail, taking place in Summer 2021. I am coordinating 99 schools involved that each have their own bear. My role is to ensure they are all donor cared throughout the project, deadlines are met and fundraising is maximised. Show less

A one year work placement working within the Event department at the College of Policing. My main role for each event allocated which included the National Taser Seminar involved client liaison, ensuring all needs and wants for the event were met. Delegate management was carried out, including personal information, communicating event programme and collecting payment from the organisation or police force. Logistics were a key element in the job ensuring catering, security and IT all had the relevant information for every event, meaning communication was key. Over the year, my budget and finance management skills were used as all events had to be kept within the budget given and invoice payment had to be delivered and collected within a certain time period. Communication was frequently carried out over email, telephone and face-to-face. Show less
