Working across the JESS cluster I managed and coordinated targeted support for families. The JESS cluster encompasses the areas of Beeston, Belle Isle, Hunslet and Holbeck. I co-ordinated services that supported families often after de-esculation from statutory involment including CSWS, YOT. I managed a number of Family Support Practitioners and Case coordinated families with multiple complex needs examples included; substance misuse, domestic abuse and child criminal exploitation and child sexual exploitation. I also delt with cases from the FDSH and Mindmate to create a sustainable outcome for families which empowered and gave the voice back to the family.I lead a number of projects which included Attendance strategy and Domestic Abuse.

Cluster Development Manager

The CHESS Cluster encompassed Harehills and Chapeltown areas in Leeds, West Yorkshire. I worked in partnership with representatives of other agencies working with children and families in the cluster from the statutory, private and voluntary/community/faith (VCF) sectors and establish successful working relationships offering additional support to VCF agencies in particular to improve the strength of this sector in CHESS. Lead the development and strengthen the governance of the cluster. This includes establishing Terms of Reference for sub committees where appropriate and the development of a clear communications structure between members of CHESS JCC. Network and ensure strategic link with other clusters and initiatives in the wedge with complimentary aims and objectives in order to develop partnerships, share expertise, develop a coordinated approach and replicate relevant effective practice to ensure maximum impact.
