  Creating a presence and identity for Classics at Radnor House. Responsible for planning and delivery of Latin and Classical Civilisation from Y7 to A level including Entry Level Latin in Y8; for extra-curricular offerings like Ancient Greek, Classics Club, Latin interventions, Latin Film Night; for Classics trips to Rome & Pompeii, to Bath, to the British Museum, Roman London & to Hadrian's Wall.   Creating and managing a whole school Careers programme, which includes visiting speakers, careers lessons as part of our PSHEE scheme of work, aptitude testing for Y10 and L6, a day at work and a careers forum for Y9, and a Networking Evening for Y11 - U6. In addition we are arranging a week of work experience for our Y11s post-GCSEs. This is managed alongside my full-time Latin teaching role and Head of Classics.

  Teaching Latin from complete beginners in Y7 to A level in U6. In Y8, pupils take the OCR Entry Level Award; about 10-15% of the cohort take GCSE Latin, with a handful taking A level.

  In this role I create the Schemes of Work for both subjects, and have oversight of lesson planning & delivery in the classroom. These subjects bridge two Faculties: Latin is in Languages; Classical Civilisation in Humanities. The role also includes exam analysis and interventions for improvement.

More recently, I have provided research and proofreading for the sister company The Tudor Tailor, which publishes books about the history of costume.
