Frederick Glasser
As Sales Director in the BES Sales and Marketing division, I had the pleasure of being a colleague of Lucy’s for 12 years. Lucy was wonderful to work with and has mastered skills in many different areas. She was really great at creating sell sheets, book ads, and press kits, from writing the copy all the way through design of the finished product. She also covered BES’s publicity efforts and was exceptional at developing and implementing targeted campaigns and helping to expand our media contact list. Another area Lucy excelled at was making the company’s conference arrangements, including selecting booths, planning out the booth design and backdrops, setting up conference workshops, and booking travel. Lucy is particularly good at quickly figuring out how to use new databases and online systems, and she eventually became the person to go to for guidance with many of these. On a personal note, Lucy is a self-starter who often anticipated department needs and covered them before others even realized there was an issue. She is positive, enthusiastic, great to collaborate on projects with, and always willing to take the time and effort to deliver excellent work. Any employer would be lucky to have her.
