    • Support for the organisation of the Etats généraux du livre en langue française dans le monde
      • Apr 2021 - Sep 2021

As a multilateral project, "the goal of the États généraux du livre en langue française dans le monde is to contribute to developing access to books and reading for all French-speaking audiences, and to remove the obstacles identified to the production, distribution and circulation of books, works and authors in the French language in the world [...]" / For more information: https://www.lelivreenlanguefrancaise.org/ I contributed to the organisation and communication of this event, which was held in Tunis on 23 and 24 September 2021, bringing together more than 250 actors from the world of French-language books in person, and nearly 300 remotely. My tasks included: - Management of the registration lists, in Tunis and remotely, and centralisation of travel and stay information for all participants in the framework of a strict health protocol; - Writing, designing and disseminating the newsletters of the Etats généraux and the Pôle (via Send in blue), monitoring and updating the Twitter account and the website; - Support to the setting up and reporting of workshops and preparatory meetings between the various stakeholders (politicians, professionals,...); - In collaboration with the Communication Department, drafting of the press kit and the programme of the two days; - In collaboration with the BnF (French National Library), a graphic designer and researchers from various French-speaking countries, collection and centralisation of metadata, reflection on the final form of the Corpus of French-language literary works for 15-25 year-olds - available here: https://www.lelivreenlanguefrancaise.org/pages/corpus - During the event, managing emergencies and ensuring the smooth technical running of the round tables in hybrid format. • Communication and Digital documentation Officer "Windows in Lockdown"
      • Jun 2020 - Sep 2020

A project led by the University of Paris Nanterre and the CNRS, #Windows in Lockdown, a visual memory of (un)lockdown, aimed to collect photographs taken by everyone of words, messages and gestures related to the pandemic, and expressed in public spaces (windows, streets, balconies...) since March 2020. The objective was to archive all these photos and to create a collective memory through a virtual map. My missions were first of all communication missions, but also digital documentation. That is to say, I was in charge of saving all the photos sent by the contributors, then uploading them on the platform below, analysing the content of each one: where and when was the photo taken? by a woman, a man? was it a political message? humorous? supportive? was it taped to a window? graffitied on a wall? a banner hung in a window? • Oct 2018 - Mar 2019

Working Holiday Visa in Mexico from September 2018 to May 2019, in order to try to better understand the Mexican culture and eventually stay and live there. I stayed from September to March in Mexico City, working as a waitress in a cinema / stand up / cultural centre with various activities. This allowed me to get closer to the artistic and cinematographic milieu of the Mexican capital, but also to realise the realities of expatriation. I spent my remaining time in Mexico (until June) travelling alone. Show less

      • Jun 2018 - Aug 2018

Within an important French and language learning centre and part of the Alliances françaises network, the Cultural Department team was in charge of organising, promoting and animating various cultural activities (excursions and guided tours, hikes, film screenings, festive evenings, games, tastings, shows,...). Our audiences were particularly multicultural: the school welcomes hundreds of trainees of all cultures and profiles each summer. This allowed me to evolve in an intercultural environment and to gain a better sense of welcome and service, and above all in diplomacy, since I always had to show adaptability and sensitivity according to the audience I was addressing. I was also able to understand more about team spirit, and learn to organise, anticipate, react and manage emergency and stressful situations. Among my missions : - Supervision of groups during excursions; - Guided tours of the town of Vichy and Clermont-Ferrand; - Setting up activities within the school (cinema, tastings, international evenings); - Registration for activities and payments; - Ensuring that activities run smoothly; - Welcoming trainees at the train station and driving them to their residences; - Guiding trainees (in the town, in the school's services, in various administrative procedures, etc.) Show less

    • "Youth Voice Ambassador (Social Service) - President and Communication Manager
      • Sep 2017 - Jun 2018

Social service within the Nov'Events event school-company, at the Mission Locale de Vichy. The association's objective was to enhance the image of young people with social and professional integration difficulties through events, while contributing to the development of the region. These nine months allowed me to have a first step in professional life by taking on a lot of responsibilities. I developed my ability to work in a team and to delegate, to take initiatives, and to develop my verbal and written communication skills (phoning, mailing, public speaking, networking). I was also in charge of managing social networks and creating various communication tools (flyers, posters, teasers, press kits and releases). I was able to develop my skills in partnership research, commercial approaches and database management. Above all, I learnt how to design and write projects, and how to manage certain essential tools such as project timetables (and to respect them!). Finally, in terms of event management skills, I was able to work on the logistical organisation of events (recruitment of temporary staff, space rental, contacts with service providers, etc.) while being on the field (welcoming speakers and public, drawing up and respecting roadmaps, etc.). • Literacy and community development campaign
      • Apr 2017 - Aug 2017

My job was rather versatile, in the organisation of a literacy campaign in a rural, indigenous and bilingual (Nahuatl/Spanish) community. We were a group of 25 young people, all the other ones from Mexico City. Part of the internship was spent in Mexico City, in the prior organisation of the campaign: communicating the project and organising fundraising events (for instance, a concert). I was in charge of organising seminars for our theoretical training: how to approach the question of intervention, what legitimacy did we have, what is indigeneity? Among others, we read a lot of Paulo Freire's writings, which are still fundamental to every project I run today. From a more practical point of view, I was in charge of inviting the speakers, and of the logistical organisation with the place where these seminars would take place (Casa Tonalá). The other part of the course took place in Chachahuantla, seven weeks during which we organised dialogue spaces: we opened up, often to elderly people who had not had access to primary education, the perspective of literacy with the method of Paulo Freire. We were also invited to take part in activities such as embroidery, cooking, work in the fields or even Nahuatl classes. This experience remains with no doubt the strongest and most decisive experience I have had so far. From a purely professional point of view, by taking me out of my comfort zone, it allowed me to acquire a certain sense of diplomacy, group work, to develop my written and oral communication skills, my digital skills, to improve my Spanish and to discover Nahuatl. We also, with a colleague, directed and edited an informative video about our work in the community (/!\ this is not the video linked below, although some of the rushes we filmed were used for this one!)
