Alison Thurgood
Lucie is imaginative, organised, uses up-to-date teaching aids, inspirational in choice of subject matter and mode of imparting knowledge. She is also very personable, highly intelligent and approaches teaching a foreign language to the British (not noted for our linguistic skills) in a clear and interesting way. I have really benefited from her teaching and hope to return for extra French classes as soon as possible. Meanwhile, will be implementing what I have learnt on the Cote d'Azur in the near future!

I found Lucie to be an excellent language tutor. She was highly proficient and intelligent in not only Latin (which I studied) but apparently several languages. She planned lessons perfectly and was dedicated - keeping students up-to-date and sending work by email and ensuring I caught up if I ever missed a class. Lucie was a very supportive and accurate teacher, always providing clear explanations to any question asked until things were totally clear. She was attentive to individuals’ specific needs, tending to provide exactly the right hint for insight to dawn for the student. Classes were very enjoyable and progress was fast. I would have loved to continue with my classes with Lucie for years more but for personal reasons I had to move down south from Cumbria to Norfolk. My Latin class is one of the things I miss. Highly recommended.
