Dedicated to the issues around sustainable development, the Institute takes on the various philosophies of this work by creating a community of actors and thinkers that can drive this change forward. Since 2009, the Institute organises trainings, conferences, but also intervenes in higher education. The team is composed of optimistic thinkers of the future and provides the necessary tools to analyse the current state of our world, where we came from and where we are going. More specifically, I am working alongside the team which teaches about biomimetics, biodesign and the natural footprint of companies and organisations in order to recenter the position of humans within the sphere of the livings, rather than on top of it. As an intern at TotalEnergies Renewables, I worked alongside the senior legal cousnels for offshore wind projects as well as solar projects. As one of the main actors in the french energy transition, the groupe has taught me a lot about the complexities of this transition, but has also reaffirmed the general enthusiasm there is for diverging investments towards renewable energies.
