Luciano has been instrumental in simplifying and updating the web server for our lab (http://bio2byte.be/), especially on the backend Django side, where we are running several software tools, but also for the nginx/uwsgi setup. We're doing all this via a git repository, whilst running a production and development server. He is great to work with, very responsive, getting increasingly better at finding solutions, and I highly recommend him!

I came to work with Mr. Kagami because of his master project called LiGRO, which used some functionalities from my own application called ACPYPE. I saw a great potential on him and eventually invited to help us to upgrade our ACPYPE server, which was running at the University of Cambridge, but the server hardware was so old and virtually impossible to upgrade that the University IT team decided to retire the hardware, leaving us without the service and needing to re-write the service backend application almost from scratch. Mr. Kagami was outstanding, not only in providing ideas and solutions, but also in self-learning, working tirelessly and competently so we were able to have the new ACPYPE server running on Python 3, Django 2, using Celery and SQLite, much more future proof (something I failed to do when designing the first ACPYPE server version), now hosted at the Free University of Brussels. He showed a deep knowledge of these platforms, even learning more about MySQL and BASH. I fully recommend Luciano Kagami for working with anything related to Python 3, Django, Celery or SQLite.
