Working with Lucas was a joy. He was an excellent listener, and problem solver. He made me feel like he listened to my concerns, and addressed them in a timely manner. If there was ever a conflict that needed resolving, he kept me up to date on the conflict resolution, and he was able to address the FIT guides in a manner that made them feel respected, as well as heard. Anyone should feel more than comfortable having him lead employees or manage day-to-day operations.

Lucas was the main reason I went to the Pit, besides the food. His encouraging demeanor, quick smile, and interest in his customers was a #1 reason to be loyal. He was good with his customers and staff and found ways to inspire others in the community to a healthier lifestyle -- through his food and his example.
