Worked a full summer season on the Redfish Lake Lodge Marina with a team of three to eight others. Responsibilities were sales- and customer service-oriented in a constantly bustling environment. Represented the lodge positively by embracing their core customer service principles: to be warm, energetic, adventurous and real. Funneled customers through the cash register; thoroughly guided each customer through the safety procedures for boat rentals and services they paid for; entertained and educated customers on hour-long lake tours; efficiently shuttled hikers back and forth across the lake. As a team we frequently generated over $10,000 in daily sales during peak season and hit the highest-level sales incentives three out of the four months of summer operations both summers. Show less

    • Residential Energy Consultant
      • Jan 2018 - May 2018

The Residential Energy Consultant (REC) performed both outside sales and energy consulting roles. I was able to generate countless leads, including hitting a lead-generation incentive in my first month, and closed two major sales. The sales process began with lead generation, which was largely the responsibility of the REC. Leads were made through several different pipelines, including connections in the area, tabling at trade shows, door knocking, and calling "cold" leads that were still in the system. Some leads were provided by Auric's in-house door knocking team and purchased leads. Once a lead was established an in-home consultation was scheduled.I was responsible for the entire scheduling process, creating calendar meetings for sometimes several consultations a day. The consultation would be anywhere from 30 minutes to several hours. Essential aspects of each consultation included briefly getting to know the client, giving an educational presentation about residential solar, sizing a potential system using their power bill, roof orientation and daily solar exposure index, then attempting to close the deal. After each consultation a client account was created in Dynamics, which was then updated after any type of interaction or progress regarding their account. This created a quick and easy way to juggle multiple leads at once without missing questions, concerns, or follow-ups. Show less
