- Managing two production facilities and 400 employees responsible for production, purchasing, human resources, and budgeting; - Guiding the transformation of the company from a contract model to an independent organization with stock offerings and full fiscal responsibility; - Reorganizing staff to accommodate growth while creating 380 new positions; - Designing and executing the construction of a production plant, including new production lines and implementing lean concepts and quality certification; Key Achievements: - Managed the project planning for European Union funding, resulting in a €1.5M grant award to SC Mechrom; - Achieved the first ISO 9011:2208 certification for a Campagnolo Group facility; - Reorganizing assembly lines, and implementing enterprise resource planning software (Baan); - Created the second plant in Romania from scratch and grew the organization from 0 to 200 employees, initiated a new facility design;

Plant Manager / Process Manager

- Managing all aspects of daily operations, including manufacturing and budgeting, while driving the entire construction process for a new factory from conception through industrialization;- Developing the hiring plan and interfacing with the Chinese government to obtain permits for the new factory;- Defining production equipment specifications and identifying machine suppliers for a €20M capital investment;- Supervising the development of added assembly lines to accommodate rising volumes;- Participating in the global development process through collaboration with Valeo and General Motors product development teams in China, Korea, and the US.Key Achievements:- Completed product and process validation to achieve production readiness approval from General Motors Shanghai & US- Managed the installation of new equipment and set up the temporary utilities required to start production (4 220kVA diesel generators, 2 water cooling towers, air compressors, and LPG gas station)

Manufacturing Engineering Manager

• 2004 - 2007

- Functioning as process manager for the torque converter project, a new venture for Valeo transmissions;- Defining the assembly process and executing manufacturing prototypes;- Establishing equipment specifications, shaping validation processes, and creating product qualification requirements;- Managing a multi-cultural staff of 8 engineers from Korea and China, plus 4 facility personnel;Key Achievements:- Completed product design in 2 ½ years, including validating and qualifying the production process;- Achieved industrialization in less than 1 year after plant became operational; - Played a key role in Valeo Pyeonghwa receiving the Appreciation Award from General Motors Daewoo;

Production Manager – Hydraulic Clutch Control

- Managing 130 employees while managing all production activities for the hydraulic clutch control unit, including dual mass flyfeel;- Directly managed a team of 4 Process Engineers responsible for identifying and developing new investments;- Managed all aspects of production, from budgeting and resource management through process engineering;Key Achievements:- Grew sales from €12M to €34M, increased employees from 70 to 130, and improved gross margins from -20% to +10% within 3 years;
