My job is to ensure our clients get sustainable energy anytime, anywhere, in the most reliable and efficient way possible. Leading multiple teams for a total of 50 individuals, including engineers, technicians and managers both locally and remotely. Responsible for the 24/7 operations of around 30 off-grid hybrid plants, offering O&M services for more than 30 MWp of solar PV across several grid-connected solar PV plants, in addition to the necessary warehousing, asset management and logistic services. Direct the teams and coordinate with other departments to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget, meeting client expectations, contractual terms and health and safety regulations. Improve operational efficiency through training, innovation and with the full digitization of scheduling and reporting of activities. Delineate standard operating procedures, define KPIs and quality metrics. Prepare strategic reports to improve information flow to all the stakeholders, including upper management and other departments.

The research covered: • Various established processes such traditional incinerators, Integrated Gasification Combined Cycle (IGCC) plant, waste management and the integration of waste to energy solutions with other renewable energy sources. • Characterization of the solid and liquid waste via laboratory analysis including thermogravimetric analysis and calorimetry. • Thermodynamic modelling of traditional and plasma gasification through different power plant configuration.
