  I undertook two separate administration roles during the course of the year, first for the Gala Dinner and then for the hosted buyer’s team. My responsibilities when working on the Gala Dinner was to correspond with internal departments, the CEO and Chairman to collate a guest list making sure all relevant industry professionals received an invite. I then sent invites, reminders and logistical information to attendees using the software Events Air. While working with the hosted buyer team I first helped the hotel-planning manager with invoicing and reconciliation. I worked with reports for flights to be booked and buyer who registered their interest for the exhibition. I then liaised with the flight-booking agent to secure flights for hosted buyers. I also took care of the hosted team inbox, answering any queries from buyers or forwarding emails to the relevant colleague to assist. Other responsibilities of mine were to query or approve flight refund submissions and query or approve individual hosted buyers that apply.
