  In preparation for a possible hard Brexit, for all UK based production sold to the Continent and vice versa a Continental/UK based alternative was to be identified. During a first period, Luc performed a scoping exercise of all chocolate products involved. Based on this scoping exercise an alternative product was identified and proposed to impacted customers. All of this in close relation with further network optimization within the EMEA Supply Chain of Barry Callebaut. During a second period, Luc was responsible for the production switch activation of above mentioned alternative products at the identified production plants throughout Europe.OPAR (Perfect Order) Root Cause AnalysisIn view of increasing customer satisfaction, Luc implemented an OPAR Root Cause Analysis methodology/reporting, in close collaboration with both Supply Chain and Customer Service. Over a period of several months the main root causes of OPAR hits were identified, based upon which an action plan was implemented in order to increase the perfect order % on a customer order level.
