Military families able to transfer operating waiting times when moving location. Foreign & Commonwealth - Campaigned successfully to get military spouses added to the Domestic Abuse Concession government policy that allows them to claim benefits whilst applying to settle in UK Housing: Use of evidence changed policy development of the Future Accommodation model. Changed statutory guidance for Council Tax and military families. Employment: Evidence gathered changed Student Finance regulatory rules to allow military spouses posted overseas to access loans to study long distance. Funding raised to support a tri-Service employment research project due to report in May 2018 Money: Rules to Habitual Residence changed to allow military spouses returning from postings overseas to access benefits. Transition: Collaborative project put together with 2 other charities and funding received by FiMT to research transition issues for military families, Due to report Nov 18 Education: Evidence contributed to military pupils been given specific guidance for admissions into school in the Schools Admissions Code
