  North Norfolk I set up my business “Dentucate” back in 2015 providing an Oral health education and promotion service to all sectors of the communities in Norfolk. I have over 30 years of experience working as a qualified, registered Oral health educator, Dental nurse and practice manager of which I recently acquired teaching status. I have over 30 years of experience working as a qualified, registered Oral health educator, Dental nurse and practice manager of which I recently acquired teaching status. In addition I have obtained qualifications within Nutrition,& Alcohol and Smoking cessation. My aim is to increase awareness, educate individuals, groups and train staff within oral health in schools, nurseries, residential care homes, medical and dental practices and to health visitors and youth groups. My passion has always been the prevention of oral disease to support educate and promote educational services to all, supporting people in behaviors that promote their oral health and reduce factors that may be harmful. The content of my services varies from workshops, presentations training programs, demonstrations and interactive sessions to promote oral health and well-being of which all are supported by practical resources. Oral health services to Dental practices are by prescription on a one to one patient basis. I also offer training programmes to Dental nurses to enable preventative advice to patients on a daily basis and I will be offering the NEBDN Oral health education certificated course at a later date to be confirmed. Other priority groups within my oral health educational delivery is to include adults and children with special care needs, including people with dementia, stroke survivors, learning disabilities / brain injuries, and degenerative disorders such as multiple sclerosis and Parkinson's disease. Dentucate is available to promote your health promotion events to offer professional demonstrations and advice within oral health to support behaviours that promote health.
