By 1952 we were known as ‘Aubrey, Lee and Miller.’ The now recognisable ‘Miller Metcalfe,’ was born when Stanley Miller and Colin Metcalfe joined us in the early 1970s.In 1982, Andrew and Lesley Thompson bought the business and the name changed once again to ‘Miller Metcalfe Thompson.’ Shortly after, in the mid-1980s, a merger with Carlton Kirkpatrick and Co led to the name change to ‘Miller Metcalfe Kirkpatrick.In 2005, after the sudden death of Andrew Thompson, Lesley Thompson’s brother, John Fletcher bought the business and became Chairman. Today, an unwavering passion, steadfast ambition and a mantra of, ‘work hard, play hard’ form the approach our proud team of ‘Mpeople’ aspire to.
