For two weeks I worked at the daily newspaper; The Southampton Echo. Here I got the opportunity to write a number of short pieces for the newspaper and went on a number of trips to the centre of Southampton in order to complete ‘vox-pops’ whereby I would interview the public for a number of articles. This really taught me a lot about an office environment and how to communicate effectively with a range of people. I really enjoyed this experience and met a number of very interesting people.
