Following my placement at The Debrief I was encouraged to continue to pitch ideas to contribute to the site as a freelancer. Jumping on the opportunity, I continue to pitch them ideas and hope to work with The Debrief more in the future

I interned for two weeks at The Debrief, Bauer Media's latest Online magazine for young women. During my time there I learned not only what goes into producing/creating/publishing an online magazine but I got an intimate look into some of the country's top female journalists at work. Following my placement there I have written freelance work for the site. It was a great placement and I would definitely go back.

In the summer I completed a two week placement at MACs Online Magazine. This placement really helped to develop my journalistic qualities and assured me of my passion for the job; putting my punctuality and commuting skills to the test- a challenge I met head on! During the internship I was entrusted with writing numerous articles for the website, which my supervisor assured me were amongst the top stories of the site. As a result of the placement, I was asked to become a regular contributor to the site- writing articles and sending them in monthly. Show less

During my two-week placement with DigitalSpy, I was given invaluable time and responsibility that I wasn't expecting; with the chance to write over 50 news and features articles for the site. I learned what it felt like to become a fully-fledged journalist working within an online time and plan to go back to complete another two weeks there in the summer (if they'll have me that is.)
