Following my success as a Training Coordinator, I was promoted to Project manager of TILII. My role involves managing and coordinating our "Telling it like it is" Project, which is groups of adults across Northern Ireland with a learning disability who are keen to have their voice heard. We do this by assisting them in developing new skills or experiences through providing in-house training, supporting their contributions to public consultation processes and enabling them to facilitate workshops, research or presentations at relevant events.Management of this project includes:Partnering with representatives of the Health & Social care trusts to provide performance analysis, and forward planning strategies. Consulting with existing and new contracted organisations to establish support services that fit their individual needs. Writing funding applications to provide free training whereever possible.Alongside this, as part of the wider ARC organisation I design and deliver bespoke training for staff in the Health and Social Care Sector.
